Description: | Mixture of green epidote crystals and brown axinite crystals in a dense layer on lighter matrix. The surface shows flat, parallel ferro-axinite crystals in 60 degree twin orientation. Old specimen. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #231; Gift from Dr. Carlson, Univ. of London in 1952. |
