Description:Dark brown pargasite crystal with good development of the crystal faces on all sides. No matrix is attached. Minor edge wear in places. I cannot find references for pargasite from this locale - could it be from Finland or Austria? Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #248; Dr. Rorer purchased specimen while in Verdun, France
