Description: | A perfect example of water clear botryoidal globular opal, variety hyalite (also known as Water Opal or Muller's glass) on matrix. Valec (Waltsch) is known for excellent hyalite. Fluoresces bright green under UV illumination. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #302; Purchased by Dr. Rorer while in Germany in 1952. |
