Locality:Aplite Quarry, Wood's Farm, Roseland, Nelson County, Virginia
Description:Large black ilmenite crystals up to 18 mm with reddish rutile crystals up to 4 mm in blue quartz. From the famous titanium area in Roseland. This quarry closed in 1950. Scattered imperfections. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #319; collected by D. Lipscomb in 1994.
