Mineral:Microcline and Smoky Quartz
Locality:Moat Mountain, Hale's Location, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:White microcline crystals up to 13 mm mixed with lustrous smoky quartz crystals up to 15 mm. All crystals are complete. This location, west of North Conway, has similar mineralogy to the Pike's Peak batholith in Colorado.
