Mineral:Dioptase on Quartz
Locality:Omaue, Kaokoveld, Namibia
Description:Translucent green dioptase crystals up to 8 mm long on limonite-coated quartz crystals up to 5 mm. Most of the crystals are complete and doubly-terminated. This locality, though less prolific than Tsumeb, produces fine quality dioptase.
