Locality:Green's Farm, 750 m. ESE of Roxbury Falls, Roxbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Two brown almandine garnet crystals up to 13 mm with prismatic brown staurolite crystals up to 6 mm in silvery schist matrix. I collected this specimen, then sandblasted away the matrix to expose the crystals. Locality closed to collecting in 2012. Collected ca. 1992
