Locality:Ylijarvi, Ylämaa, East Karjala, Finland
Description:Exceptionally large single crystal of anorthite, variety spectrolite, a labradorescent feldspar. The labradorescence covers a 8 cm long area and has twin lines running throughout that show the Schiller-effect too when rotated. The rear was sawn to trim.
