Locality:Ylijarvi, Ylämaa, East Karjala, Finland
Description:Single crystal of anorthite, variety spectrolite, a labradorescent feldspar showing golden yellow to blue Schiller-effect. The labradorescence covers a 5 cm long area. The front faces was polished to highlight the effect, the rear is raw. Superb.
