Locality:Four Peaks Amethyst Deposit, Mazatzal Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona
Description:Large cluster of deep purple amethyst quartz crystals up to 12 cm long (8 cm across) with small colorless apatite crystals up to 2 mm scattered on the surface. The amethyst crystals are lustrous, translucent and large for the locality. Minor damage. Ex. Frank Jaeger collection
