Description: | Two large black schorl tourmaline crystals held together by quartz matrix. One crystal is doubly-terminated. Manley's label did not list the mine, but the large size is typical of the Rice Mine first opened in 1897. Scattered imperfections. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1900 |
