Description: | Orange-brown grossular garnet crystals embedded in greenish quartz. The central crystal is complete, with an area of secondary growth or possibly part of another crystal attached. This Dana locale was mined in the 1870-1880 period and is now lost. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1880s |
