Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst overgrown on Milky Quartz
Locality:Deer Hill, Stow, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Large central milky quartz crystal 9 cm long overgrown on one side and termination with several medium-pale purple amethyst quartz crystals. Scattered damage throughout due to glaciation collapsing the pocket. Collected in 1969 by Cliff Trebilcock
