Description: | Bright green microcrystals of translucent grossular garnet on olive-green diopside crystal matrix. These used to be identified as uvarovite garnet, but were properly identified by Dunn as chrome-rich grossular garnet. Looks beautiful under magnification. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
