Description: | Single crystal of black cassiterite in muscovite matrix. The cassiterite crystal has a surface texture of parallel microfaces. The rear of the crystal is incomplete. The Andover locality is unknown, possibly could be nearby Black Mountain. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
