Mineral:Barite with Quartz
Locality:Somers, Tolland County, Connecticut
Description:Bluish-gray translucent barite crystals lining a solution cavity in opaque white barite with small clusters of white quartz microcrystals in one corner. The barite crystals are chisel-point habit. From a one-time find at a private building site. Collected in 2006
