Description:Single crystal of deep purple amethyst quartz with coated termination. The amethyst crystals is lustrous and large for the locality. Minor chipping on sides, the tip is undamaged. See: Mineralization of the Four Peaks Amethyst Deposit in Min. Rec. v.7#2. Ex. Frank Jaeger collection
