Mineral:Calcite (twinned crystals)
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Twinned crystals of golden calcite with colorless calcite on the bottom. The calcite crystals are twinned on the C-axis (001) with prominent reentrant twin faces. Though the tips are cleaved, this color and quality are hard to get now the mine is closed.
