Mineral:Orthoclase var. Manebach Twin with Smoky Quartz
Locality:Tanokamiyama, Omi, Shiga, Japan
Description:Large brown orthoclase crystals up to 65 mm with medium-gray smoky quartz crystals up to 30 mm on the side. The orthoclase crystals show v-shaped terminations indicating they are twinned following the Manebach-law. All crystals have micro mica coating.
