Mineral:Spodumene var. Kunzite
Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Hot pink kunzite crystal (pink gem-grade spodumene). The bottom termination appears rough, but is actually a natural complex termination. This crystal has excellent color and fluoresces red under UV illumination. A lower rear corner is cleaved.
