Locality:Staunton Quarry, Augusta County, Virginia
Description:Two generations of calcite: large golden yellow rounded scalenohedral crystals up to 60 mm long intergrown with flattened rhombohedral gray calcite crystals up 15 mm. It appears the gray crystals grew on the golden crystals. One small bruise on rear. Ex. R. Hauck collection
