Description: | Double-sided specimen with cubic green fluorite crystals that fluoresce violet under UV illumination. The rear fluorite crystals have a waxy luster, the front crystals are glassy. Many show penetration twinning. Minor damage visible under 20x. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
