Mineral:Diamond (0.94 carat pale pale-yellow octahedral crystal)
Locality:Orapa Mine, south of the Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana
Description:Transparent octahedral crystal of natural diamond with pale yellow color and smooth glassy crystal faces with stepped edges. Internally the crystal is clean except for a few subsurface flaws that are easily eliminated when faceted.
