Mineral:Calcite on Prehnite
Locality:Gainesville Quarry, Prince William County, Virginia
Description:Thin bladed crystal, possibly an epimorph of calcite, completely coated all around with translucent greenish-gray prehnite crystals up to 0.5 mm with transparent golden calcite crystals up to 2 mm scattered on the prehnite. Very attractive.
Overall Size:22x13x7 mm
Crystals:0.5-2.0 mm
