Locality:Arondo, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Sharp black fassaite crystals (Fe-Al-rich diopside or augite) in stacked cluster of parallel crystals. The fassaite crystals have lustrous surfaces and light-colored streaks that are the result of sub-surface inclusions. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M704, originally acquired in 1991 from Mtn. Min.
