Description: | Large plate of crystallized translucent tan-colored witherite (fluoresces white under UV illumination) with no matrix attached. The witherite crystals are in aggregates up to 15 mm long of smaller, parallel crystals. One end has remnants of a wax base. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #5955, originally acquired in 1983 |
