Mineral:Pyrargyrite var. Ruby Silver with Pyrite
Locality:Mina Santo Niņo, Fresnillo District, Zacatecas, Mexico
Description:Several crystals of dark-red pyrargyrite with complex terminations of many smaller faces in parallel orientation. When rear-illuminated the pyrargyrite shows red translucency. Brassy metallic pyrite (or possibly chalcopyrite crystals are mixed in.
Overall Size:3x2.5x2 cm
Crystals:1-15 mm
