Locality: | Limpopo Province (formerly Transvaal), South Africa |
Description: | Elongated transparent colorless aragonite crystals up to 5 mm over milky white calcite crystals. Since both minerals are CaCO3, I suspect the mineral identification is based on morphology rather than XRD. Both minerals fluoresce brightly under UV. Ex. Robert C.
