Locality:Ouachita Mountains, Hot Spring County, Arkansas
Description:Rare specimen of Faden-habit quartz from Arkansas. The matrix is covered with slender limonite-stained quartz crystals up to 5 mm. On top are doubly-terminated flattened crystals with a curved milky core that was the seed (Faden-habit). Ex. John Albanese (1898-1969), ex. John Albanese, Jr.
