Mineral:Gypsum var. Selenite Twins
Locality:Lemmon, Perkins County, South Dakota
Description:Transparent pale-brown gypsum, variety selenite, in an elongated formation of parallel twinned crystals. The formation is a floater - fully crystallized on all surfaces with no point of attachment. A good specimen for gypsum collectors.
