Description: | Thirteen loose crystals of transparent sapphire from the old Missouri River gravel deposits that have been mined for years for gem sapphires. The crystals are rounded due to alluvial wear and are mostly blue-green, with two pinks. Ex. John Albanese (1898-1969), ex. John Albanese, Jr. |
