Locality:Alicante, Valencia, Spain
Description:Fibrous green crystals of Fe-rich clinozoisite Ca2Al3(SiO4)3(OH) , variety pistacite, lining veins in brown matrix. I have seen these labeled as epidote, Ca2(Al,Fe)3(SiO4)3(OH), but there is not enough iron. The crystals look beautiful under 20X.
