Description: | Doubly-terminated crystal of blue sapphire variety of corundum. The crystal has lustrous crystal faces, medium blue color and is internally transparent. The specimen was found in river gravels and the edges are worn due to alluvial action. Ex. John Albanese (1898-1969), ex. John Albanese, Jr. |
