Locality: | Moore's Station Quarry, 44 km northeast of Philadelphia, Mercer County, New Jersey |
Description: | Plate of orange-brown stilbite crystals up to 7 mm long overgrown on translucent gray calcite crystals up to 4 mm. Many of the stilbite crystals are doubly-terminated, others are in circular aggregates up to 12 mm diameter. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #23021, collected by Sam Gordon (1897-1952) in 1924 |
