Locality: | Moore's Station Quarry, 44 km northeast of Philadelphia, Mercer County, New Jersey |
Description: | Vein formation with the cavity walls lined with acicular white natrolite crystals up to 25 mm long over pale-yellow calcite crystals up to 10 mm accompanied by original label from the Academy of Natural Sciences. Natrolite is not common at this site. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #22740, donated by J. F. Van Artsdalen (of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania) |
