Description: | Two complex clusters of translucent calcite crystals up to 13 mm mixed with metallic pyrite and whitish melanterite efflorescence. I believe both cluster were one connected. Notable because it was from Leidy, Father of American Vertebrate Paleontology Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #5808, presented by Dr. Jos. Leidy (1823-1891) |
