Locality:Gibbsboro, Camden County, New Jersey
Description:Two large specimens of petrified (silicified) wood with well defined wood grain visible on all surfaces. The original wood organic matter was replaced molecule by molecule by quartz (silica) leaving the original structure visible. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #7519, presented by Jas. T. Sullivan
