Description: | Large translucent mass of thaumasite with radiating white pectolite crystals up to 5 mm on the top edge. The thaumasite is very hard (not the usual friable mass, and transmits light well when rear-illuminated. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #9030, collected by Sam Gordon (1897-1952) in 1917 |
