Description: | Elongated crystal of pale-yellow-white pyroxene mineral, probably diopside. The crystal was repaired with a black adhesive that is visible in two areas. The Long Pond Ironworks, in the Ramapo Mountains, is now a state park. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection 7046, presented by Dr. J.H. Slack |
