Locality:Bergen Hill, Hudson County, New Jersey
Description:Exceptionally large plate of colorless apophyllite crystals up to 10 mm with translucent yellow calcite crystals up to 12 mm and small metallic pyrite crystals up to 0.5 mm. An old pen-and-ink label attached indicates this was from Vaux. Ex. W.S. Vaux (1811-1882) collection of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #24039
