Mineral:Quartz with Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite
Locality:Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Transparent colorless quartz crystals up to 30 mm with scattered sphalerite and chalcopyrite crystals scattered among the quartz. The sphalerite crystals formed before the chalcopyrite which grew epitaxially over the sphalerite.
