Description: | translucent rhombohedral yellow calcite crystals up to 15 mm overgrown on orange-brown stilbite crystals up to 4 mm. One of the best calcite specimens in the academy collection from this old locality. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #9197, presented by Morrell G. Biernbaum (1895-ca.1938) (changed name in later years to Baldwin) |
