Description: | Rhombohedral greenish-brown siderite crystals up to 16 mm and silver-metallic galena crystals up to 13 mm with transparent colorless cryolite in between and minor chalcopyrite. A historic specimen from this famous mine that originally opened in 1854. Ex. G. Loud collection #5196; ex. David Travis collection ca. 1960 |
