Mineral:Gahnite with Andradite Garnet
Locality:Franklin Mining District, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous brown andradite garnet crystals up to 14 mm with a green-black gahnite crystal 10 mm across. Originally the cavity was filled with calcite, which protected the minerals, but was then etched away. One andradite crystal is incomplete.
