Description: | Many lustrous green demantoid garnet crystals (gemmy chrome-rich andradite) scattered over one face of epidote and chlorite-rich schist with white patches of chrysotile. The rear is sawn flat to remove excess without losing crystals. Ex. Carnegie Museum of Natural History; collected by R. Allori (Rome) |
