Description: | Large geode of purple amethyst quartz with three yellow botryoidal fluorite formations up to 50 mm diameter in one corner. One fluorite formation has a red (hematite?) inclusion just below the surface. The outside has been worked to reduce excess quartz. Collected in 2007 from a new locality in central India |
