Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Translucent brown andradite-grossular (exact species t.b.d.) garnet crystals with dodecahedral form and trapezohedral edge faces. This specimen is more translucent than the other specimens I have from this region.
Overall Size:5x3x3 cm
Crystals:1-10 mm
