Locality:McKiernan and Bergin Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Classic specimen of colorless quartz (stained with brown limonite) that crystallized over prismatic glauberite crystals. The glauberite dissolved away leaving rhombic cavities. One cast later filled with quartz resulting in a quartz replica. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2155; ex. Frank Hess
