Locality: | Ellenville Zinc Co. Mine, Ulster County, New York |
Description: | Very large specimen of transparent quartz crystals up to 28 mm long with several chalcopyrite crystals up to 18 mm across. The chalcopyrite crystals have surface coating of dark covellite. The crystals cover all surfaces including inside a cavity.
