Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet with Stilbite
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Lustrous brown andradite-grossular garnet crystals (both species occur here, often both within a single crystal) to 27 mm with overgrowth of translucent yellow stilbite wheat-sheaf-shaped crystals to 18 mm. The outer garnet layers are translucent.
